DOWN A CAROLINA ROAD

It has been a long time sine I posted anything here . . . summer has been busy!  But that school bell is getting ready to ring - "The most wonderful time of the year!"

I have been moonlighting a little bit with the quilting . . . . here are a few pics to share . . . .
ans we did manage to have a little fun this summer.

Sweet baby girl quilt! The pinwheels are 3d

Back side of baby girl quilt
Practicing free motion flower vine - cannot wait to try this on my new Grace Quilt frame with a carriage for my sewing machine!  Whoo Hoo!
Visits from son and daughter in law - church on Sunday morning!
Commissioned project for a young man going off to college - a t shirt quilt.
Another commissioned project - made with tshirts from her daddy's favorite fishing tees and other tees that he loved to wear.  He has passed away now and this is very rewarding to see the loved ones light up when they see their loved ones shirts displayed in a keepsake quilt.
Commissioned project for shirts from a customer's daddy;s shirts - Notice the Members only patch appliqued on the corner!  Too sweet!

Commissioned project for shirts from a daddy - this one turned out amazing!
We even included the buttons and labels from the shirts!
Grand dog Stella!

A quilt for a baby that will be used in a mission's auction to raise funds
Making prairie points for a baby girl quilt
Another memory quilt from a loved ones shirts
We did manage to get a couple of beach trips in this summer

Visit from my sweet nephew!

It has been a busy summer but full of so many blessings!  Baby girl kept us busy with camps and travel.  Youngest son kept us busy with mission trip preparation.  Oldest son and his sweet wife came to visit a few times and we loved seeing them.  God is good as we travel DOWN A CAROLINA ROAD!
